Sales decks, one-pagers and templates your team can run
Overslide designs sales presentations, one-pagers and custom sales templates for funded startups. A single sales deck is a Deck or a Story; a set of templates and a modular slide library the team builds its own decks from is a System. Max Marele designs every project himself, in the tool the team already uses.

Sales vs pitch
Your sales deck is not your pitch deck with the logo swapped
A pitch deck argues the company is worth funding. A sales deck argues the product is worth buying. Same brand, usually. Different story, almost always.
The classic move is recycling the fundraising deck for sales calls. Investors cared about your market size. Your buyer cares about their problem.
What I design
Sales presentations
One deck, built around the buyer’s problem instead of your org chart. A Deck if the narrative is there, a Story if it isn’t.
One-pagers
The leave-behind, the cold-email attachment, the version a busy person actually reads. One page carrying the whole argument. Scoped on the call, like everything else.
Templates and slide libraries
A template for each kind of deck your team presents, a modular slide library to build from, a brand system extended or built from scratch, and a handover: a written guide or up to 30 days with me on Slack. That’s a System.
One deck or a system
How to tell which one you need
One deck for one purpose, however big, is a Deck or a Story. “A deck and a template”, or the same look across sales, investor and board decks, is a System.
The giveaway: every rep has their own version of the deck, and none of them match.
Tools
Built where your team already works
Figma Slides, Google Slides, Keynote or PowerPoint, whatever your team uses. I build in Figma when I can (it’s just better), but the point is that your team can edit it after handover. Longer version in the tools guide.
One fixed price per project, agreed on a 30-minute call. The starting figures are on the pricing page.
Questions
What is the difference between a pitch deck and a sales deck?
A pitch deck is aimed at investors and argues that the company is worth funding. A sales deck is aimed at customers and argues that the product is worth buying. The two often share a brand and a template, but they rarely share a narrative, because what is being asked for is different. Overslide designs both, and a System engagement can produce the shared template they run on.
What is a one-pager?
A one-pager is a single page carrying the argument a whole deck would otherwise make: what the company does, who it is for, and why it matters. It is used as a leave-behind after a meeting, as an attachment to a cold email, or as the version a busy reader gets instead of the full deck. Overslide designs one-pagers under Sales.
What is the difference between a Story and a System?
A Story is one deck for one purpose, however large. A System is what a team builds its own decks from: templates, a slide library and a handover. If the request is “a deck and a template”, or the same look across investor, sales and board decks, it is a System.
Can Overslide work with our existing brand or build us a reusable template?
Yes. Deck and Story are designed in the client’s existing brand. A reusable template is a System: templates, a slide library and a handover the team builds its own decks from.
What if we don't have brand guidelines yet?
Overslide works with whatever exists. Most startups do not have brand guidelines, and a coherent presentation style is built from the material that is there. A full brand system can be built from scratch as part of a System engagement.
Will my team be able to edit the deck afterwards?
Yes, the team can edit the deck afterwards. Decks are built in the tool the team already works in, so the files stay editable in-house after handover.
How is the price decided?
Every project gets one fixed price, set on the 30-minute call. Two things shape it: the size of the deck, and whether anything has to be built before it can be designed, meaning the narrative or the visual direction. A standard deck is around 25 slides. Most fundraising decks run longer, and some come in two versions, a teaser and a full deck. Those are scoped as the larger projects they are.
